Guidance on the Laboratory New Safety Training of the 2023 Spring Semester

I. Regarding: Laboratory Safety Laws – Article 20 (Education and Training)
II. With regard to the above, safety training is offered for the new research personnel of 
2023 as stated in the following. We encourage departments and sections with 
applicable personnel to have them to complete their training. 
A. Applicable to: Research personnel newly employed or enrolled in 2023
(Faculty members, researchers, graduate school students, and undergraduate students)
B. Training Period: Monday, March 3 – Friday, June 16, 2023
※ Refer to the working plan in Attachment 1 for detailed information on the training.
C. Training Method: Online training (Refer to the manual provided in Attachment 3.)

- Those who have completed the new-personnel training are exempt from the regular 
safety training scheduled for spring semester of 2023. 
- Those who do not complete their training will not be able to use their ID card or 
access their grades for the spring semester of 2023.
- The results of completion of safety education may be reflected when selecting 
students dispatched to overseas universities.
