GIST 101

GIST 101

GIST 101 is designed to help GIST first-years to successfully integrate into college life and acquire essential academic skills required to explore their academic major and future career. This orientation course also purposes to nourish the students with the proud identity as member of the GIST community and a strong sense of citizenship and responsibility towards society, so that they mature as future talents and leaders in science and engineering. GIST 101 is a mandatory one-credit course.

(“GIST 101” is 1 credit course that is only offered in Spring semester. Int’l students must enroll their 2nd semester during the freshman year.)

Main Purpose

  • Group meetings with Advisor professor
  • Invited Seminars
  • Invited talk with graduates and senior students
  • Introduction of GIST student support programs
