2022년 지스트 멘토링 프로그램 참가자를 모집합니다.
 

지스트 멘토링 프로그램은 수학과 과학 등의 교과목 학습에 어려움을 겪는 신입생들이 대학 생활에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 지원하기 위한 프로그램입니다. 

기초과목 이수 뿐만 아니라 대학 생활 전반에 대해 도움이 필요한 후배들에게 선배가 멘토링 할 수 있는 프로그램을 운영하여 신입생들의 학습 능력 향상, 대학 생활 적응 등에 기여하고자 하오니 관심 있는 학생들의 참여를 기대합니다.

1. 지원자격

  ※ 외국인 학생도 멘토/멘티 가능, 휴학생(예정자) 신청 제외

  - 활동 기간 중 캠퍼스 내에서 활동이 가능한 학생

  - 적극적이고 성실하며 본인의 역할에 대해 책임감이 강한 학생

2. 프로그램 개요

   - 신청분야

   - 팀 구성: 신청서 접수 후 신청분야 등을 고려하여 적합한 멘토와 멘티 매칭 예정

      (1:1 ~ 1:n 로 구성 될 수 있으며 지원자 수를 고려하여 변동 가능함)

   - 활동기간: ’22년 2학기 시범 운영(9.19. ~ 12.18. 예정)

   - 활동내용: 멘토는 학습 계획서에 의해 수업을 실시하며, 활동기간 중 총 12회의

     수업을 실시,월 최소 2회 이상, 매회 2시간씩 수업하는 것을 원칙으로 함

3. 지원방법

   - 신청기간: 2022.8.16.(화) ~ 2022.08.26.(금)

   - 지원신청: 신청서를 작성하여 E-mail로 신청서 제출

                 (E-mail: g_cei@gist.ac.kr)

                 ※ 메일 제목: [지스트 멘토링 프로그램_멘토 or 멘티] 학번/이름

   - 멘토는 멘토 신청서를, 멘티는 멘티 신청서를 작성해야함

   - 성정증명서 제출: 멘토는 멘토의 자격을 확인할 수 있는 해당 과목의 학점을 확인할 수 있는 

      성적증명서를 제출해야 하며 제출된 서류는 반환되지 않음

4. 선발 방법

   가. 선정 팀: 총 10팀 예정

   나. 선발기준: 접수된 신청서를 바탕으로 지원 동기, 멘토/멘티 적합성, 참여 의지 등을

       종합적으로 평가

         - 자격 미달 판단시 자동 탈락

   다. 선정 혜택

      - 멘토 장학금: 25만원/월(3개월, 9월 중순 ~ 12월 중순)

        ※ 멘토/멘티의 활동 보고서 및 피드백을 월별로 검토하여 미진시 장학금 지급 중단

      - 베스트 멘토/멘티 선정: 활동 보고서, 활동 결과 피드백 등을 검토하여 각각 1명 선정

        ※ 베스트 멘토 선정자는 다음 학기 멘토 선발시 우대

      - 후기 공모전 수행: 프로그램 후기 공모 후 우수 후기 2팀 선정

    라. 결과 발표: 2022.9.2.(금)(예정), 선발일정에 따라 변동 가능, 개별 메일 발송 예정

    마. 오리엔테이션, 멘토/멘티 대회

      - 오리엔테이션: 2022.9.16.(금) 11:00 예정

      - 멘토/멘티 대회: 11월중

       ※ 진행 일정에 따라 안내 자료 배포 등으로 대체 될 수 있으며 행사 개최시 불참한 경우 선정이 

          취소될 수 있습니다.

The GIST Mentoring Program is a program to help freshmen who have difficulty learning subjects such as math and science adapt well to college life.

We look forward to the participation of interested students as we would like to contribute to improving the learning ability of new students and adapting to college life by running a program that allows seniors to mentor juniors who need help not only in basic courses but also in general.

1. Qualification for application

  ※ Excluding application for leave of absence (or scheduled person)

   - Students who can be on campus during the period

   - Students who are active, diligent, and responsible for their roles

2. Program Overview

   - Application field

      ※ The field of application shall be selected by reflecting a survey of first-year students and

          compulsory subjects for the second semester of the 22nd year of the basic education department

  - Teaming: After receiving the application form, the mentee will be matched with the appropriate mentor in

    consideration of the application field, etc

    (It can consist of 1:1 to 1:n and can vary considering the number of applicants)

  - Period: Test operation for the second semester in 2022(19th Sep. ~ 18th Dec.)

  - Contents: Mentors should conduct classes according to the learning plan, and in principle,

    they should conduct a total of 12 classes during the activity period, 

    at least twice a month, and at least 2 hours each time

3. How to apply

   - Application period: 16th Aug. ~ 26th Aug

   - Application method: Fill out the application form and submit the application by e-mail 

     (E-mail: g_cei@gist.ac.kr)

   ※ Mail Title: [GIST Mentoring Program_mentor/mentee] Student number/Name

   - Mentors must fill out the mentor application form and mentees must fill out the mentee application form

   - Submission of tranxss-scripts: The mentor must submit a tranxss-script to verify the qualifications of the mentor

     and the submitted xss-document. will not be returned

4. Selection method

◾ Selection team: 10 teams(total)

◾ Selection criteria: Comprehensive evaluation of application motivation, mentor/mentor

   suitability, willingness to participate, etc. based on the application received

   - Elimination if judged to be unqualified

◾ Selection benefit

   - a mentor's scholarship: 250,000won/a month(Total 3months, Sep to Dec)

     ※ Monthly review of Mentor/Mentee's activity reports and feedback must be required

   - Best Mentor/Mentee Selection: Review activity reports, feedback on activity results, etc. to select one

     person each

     ※ Best mentor selectors will be given preferential treatment when selecting mentors for the next

        semester

   - Post-Commercial Contest: Selection of 2 best post-commercial teams

◾ Announcement of Results: 2nd Sep(Can be changed according to the selection schedule,

                               Individual mail will be sent)

◾ Orientation, Mentor/mentee contest

   - Orientation: 16th Sep(Fri) 11:00 A.M.

   - Mentor/mentee contest: in mid-November

    ※ Depending on the schedule, it can be replaced by distributing information, and if you do not attend

       the event, the selection may be canceled.
